Generations at Neighbors is thrilled to introduce the newest member of our family: meet Leroy Rodgers, the English Lop who will be our beloved facility pet, bringing HOPPINESS to our residents every day.
We originally planned to surprise our residents with Leroy on Christmas Day, but unfortunately, Santa Claus must have taken a wrong turn! However, we recently unveiled the long-anticipated secret to our residents during a joyous morning event following a delicious waffle breakfast bar.
To ensure Leroy’s happiness and well-being, our facility has gone to great lengths to provide him with a home fit for a king. He has a comfortable living space, is fully vaccinated, and enjoys an abundance of toys and company. Leroy is already bringing smiles to everyone who meets him, and we’re confident that he will continue to brighten the days of our residents and staff alike.
Leroy will also be joining in on some of our facility activities and will have designated visitation hours for anyone who wants to spend time with him. This initiative is part of our commitment to creating a warm, welcoming, and joyful environment for everyone in our community.
The name “Leroy” was chosen by our residents through a fun voting process, while “Rodgers” was cleverly added by our staff as a nod to our facility’s name, Generations at Neighbors — a playful tribute to “Mr. Rogers.”
We are so excited to welcome Leroy Rodgers to the Generations at Neighbors family and look forward to the joy he will bring to our community!
